On the planet Eternia, the evil Skeletor and his army of darkness have taken over Castle Greyskull, the mysterious castle, and imprisoned The Sorceress of Greyskull, and Skeletor has begun draining The Sorceress of Greyskull's powers as he bids to claim the powers of Greyskull and become master of the universe. Mighty warrior He-Man, the most powerful man in the universe and his companions loyal soldier Man-at-Arms, his daughter Teela and a dwarf inventor named Gwildor accidentally finds themselves on Earth, by Gwildor's creation, The Cosmic Key, a device that can open portals that lead to any part of the galaxy, which Skeletor requires in his goal for universal conquest. But when the Comsic Key is taken in possession by Julie Winston and her boyfriend Kevin, both unaware Earth is about to become a battleground, as Skeletor and his mercenaries arrives on Earth, as they go in pursuit of He-Man and his companions who are searching for The Cosmic Key so they can return to Eternia and defeat Skeletor.

Compared to the 2004 version of the Punisher with Thomas Jane, the Lundgren version
is a simple one against the mob movies with little reference to the comic.

Caine is used to fighting the toughest of criminals, but up to now theyve all

Somehow this movie seems to be inspired by Predator. But if you don't have the
money for a real alien monster you make it look human and give him superpowers.
And if you can't afford Arnold you take the next best muscle packed actor with
a funny accent to battle the evil invader. And the result is Dark Angel.

Universal Soldier (1992)

Luc Devreux (Van Damme) and Andrew Scott (Lundgren) are US soldiers who kill each other in Vietnam when Devreux interferes with Scotts slaughter of a friendly village. Listed as MIA, they are actually flash-frozen and shipped to a top-secret facility where a team of scientists led by Colonel Perry turn the two, along with other select specimens, into super-soldiers known as UniSols.

While helping foil a terrorist takeover of the giant McKinley Dam, Devreux starts having flashbacks to his former life, and makes a break from his colleagues. The increasingly human Devreux teams up with TV reporter Veronica Roberts, while they are chased across much of the Midwest by Scott, and also by Perry and the police, who capture them long enough for Scott to find them. After a chase, thinking that they killed Scott in a truck crash, Veronica takes Devreux home to his parents in Louisiana, only to have Scott catch up with them for a brutal confrontation.

This movie was the last blockbuster success for Lundgren.

This film features Dolph Lundgren as a leader of a bunch of mercenaries who are hired to go to a south pacific island to persuade the locals to sign away rights to the rare ore Jade. Dolph who plays Nick Gunnar fails to persuade the locals, and most of his mercenaries decide , that they will persuade the locals by force. Dolph and a couple of his loyal soldiers decide to protect the locals and a massive battle breaks out.

If you look at Lundgren's movie career this is maybe the last bigger budget movie before his movies became a straight to dvd franchise.
You get plenty of action, many kills and explosions, a nice soundtrack and a really good mercenary movie.
